Agents with outstanding personal tax obligations – such as debts or overdue lodgment – have a brief window to act before full rollout of a major compliance campaign from the Tax Practitioners Board.
The TPB launched on Tuesday a debt and lodgment project, which is set for full rollout in February next year. A key focus will be on tax agents with personal tax debts and no payment plans, and outstanding lodgments including their income tax and SMSF annual returns.
