
Companies forced into tax ’confessional’
The Australian Taxation Office is forcing all of the nation’s top 1000 companies into an annual tax ’confessional’.

The new system - to be introduced for this financial year - will force companies making over 250 million dollars to flag any tax positions that the ATO would see as ’contestable’ or face considerable fines.
