The ATO has confirmed that it will not enable single touch reporting to be done through its new online services for agents nor its existing portals while refraining from recommending specific STP-enabled products.
Speaking on an ATO webcast, assistant commissioner John Shepherd said that he often gets asked whether the Tax Office will allow STP reporting to be submitted through the tax agent portal.
