Financial services firm IOOF has sought to play down ASIC's 12-month investigation into its compliance practices, pointing out that the regulator's inquiry concerned matters of a "historical nature".
IOOF has responded to the completion of an ASIC inquiry, saying it is satisfied with the result and that the allegations of misconduct IOOF faced last year may now be laid to rest.
