The Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) executive Vicki Stylianou has been elected to a major posting at the International Council for Small Business (ICSB).
As the IPA's executive general manager, advocacy and technical, Ms Stylianou has been appointed as the ICSB's senior vice president - development.
IPA chief executive Andrew Conway congratulated Ms Stylianou on the appointment, calling it a recognition of her commitment to policy and advocacy.
“Vicki’s role with the IPA is one of carrying a strong advocacy voice on behalf of our members and the small business community; this two-year appointment is a natural extension of her role and signifies the IPA Group’s commitment to support small business at a global level," Mr Conway said.
“I am confident that Vicki’s skills in policy, advocacy and background as a practitioner will be a great asset to the ICSB."
Ms Stylianou’s ICSB role responsibilities will include enhancing relationships with ICSB affiliates, the introduction of new affiliates and the creation of a global public relations strategy.
