IPA launches exclusive training platform

The IPA announced that the video-based SimplyCPD will be made available exclusively to its members via the association’s website, with its first instructional series focusing on Excel.

“There’s no better way to learn something, especially Microsoft Excel which can be complex at times, than having a live instructor on video walk you through the challenges,” Member Services executive general manager Michael Linke said.

“By having an experienced instructor delivering digestible training and giving you the opportunity to practice what you’ve learnt after each video lesson, reduces learning time by more than half and dramatically improves comprehension rates and really enhances the learning experience.”

The video training modules allow members to work through an hour’s worth of content at their own pace and in their own time.

The first Excel module contains a learner guide and a short six minute video lessons, as well as exercises and quizzes to test your knowledge.

Once members successfully complete the course they will be awarded with a Certificate of Completion and one hour of CPD will be added to their educational records.

SimplyCPD is available 24/7 on any device and will be updated with new modules throughout 2017.
