A PwC partner who has been accused by the corporate regulator of failing to gather enough evidence while auditing the collapsed education provider Vocation will stay on as the chief financial officer of the big four firm's audit team.
Steve Bourke denies ASIC's allegations against him but has voluntarily cancelled his registration with the corporate regulator as a registered company auditor. PwC said Mr Bourke will perform roles that do not require him to be a authorised auditor.
