Small businesses across Australia could face a shock if new contract laws passed by the Turnbull government late last year wrong-foot small companies, after the new regulations received little public attention.
According to Brisbane-based firm Paxton-Hall lawyers, “all small businesses across the country could find themselves left with defective contracts” if they failed to follow the amendment to the consumer laws.
