As many as 70 per cent of Australian workers are working unpaid overtime, as the nation sees a spike in unpaid work in the wake of hybrid working arrangements fuelled by the pandemic.
New research shows that Australians are on average working 7.3 unpaid hours a week, up from the 5.8-hour average reported before the pandemic took hold, while as many as a quarter of the Australian workforce are working more than 11 unpaid hours a week.
