'Golden generation' of global Aussie startups pays off for local jobs
Australia's biggest tech exports are driving growth by keeping high-paying developer roles and core teams onshore, but the country cannot afford to lose momentum in building future unicorns, the 2019 StartupAus Crossroads report has found.
"Across every company we could identify, the highest value jobs tend to stay in the country where it was born. For Australia, that is of critical importance," StartupAus chief executive Alex McCauley said.
