Australia Post has closed its gender pay gap, reducing the average pay difference between men and women to zero for the first time across the enterprise.
The extraordinary record low, based on average full-time earnings as at March 2017 and to be tabled in parliament next week, comes as the state-owned corporation has removed employee names from job applications to discourage unconscious bias and recruited more women into senior and operational roles.
